Day 4 of the Nigeria’s National Data Privacy Week 2023, is dedicated to the people of the Younger Generation – Students of Secondary Schools and Universities across Nigeria. This is a Catch Them Young Awareness Training on “Your Privacy in the Cyberspace”.
It was indeed a collaborative advocacy of NDPB, ISACA – the premier professional body providing resources and developing digital trust Professionals, and Stephen Alaekwe & Co, a licensed Data Protection Compliance Organization.
We nominated and engaged three schools within the FCT, where we provided awareness training to the students on their Privacy in the Cyberspace. It was really insightful and exciting moment with the audience across the three schools today. With our first point of call was at Anglican Comprehensive Secondary School, Kubwa, Abuja; then, Government Secondary School, Wuse Zone 3, Abuja; and finally at Government Secondary School, Nyanya, the sensitization on being intentional about privacy matters was duly driven and heartily taken, accordingly.
Data Privacy is everybody’s business! Lets all be aware, intentional and compliant!
